Local Search – Training Course – 30th March, Digital Depot

We are delighted to announce that Des Martin (Local Search Founder) will be presenting a ‘Local Search’ training course in conjunction with the IIA.

The half day course will take place on Wednesday the 30th of March. The venue is the Digital Depot, on Thomas Street.

Course Overview:

Every time someone uses a search engine to search by location they are performing a ‘Local Search’. For example ‘Accountant Dublin’. This triggers a set of Local results.

Why is this important? Local business searchers are further along the purchase decision process, the cost of each acquisition is lower and the return on investment is higher.

According to the Digital Reach Group, there are now 1 million people in Ireland with smart phones. These people are continuously interacting with local business as they use there phones on a daily basis. Most Irish business have not developed a strategy to interact with and capture these customers.

The course gives you the tools to start your own Local Search Campaign.
